Concordia Law’s Idaho State Bar passage exceeds state average
It’s a great day for Concordia University School of Law’s graduates, students, and legal education program. The July 2016 State Bar Exam results were announced September 15 – with Concordia Law students achieving a pass rate of 80%, well above the state average of 72.5% for bar exam takers. By passing the bar, these attorneys are now able to be officially licensed by the Idaho State Bar to practice law in Idaho.
“We’re extremely proud of our successful group of lawyers, including the 100% who passed in other states,” said Interim Dean Jilma Meneses. “For these new attorneys, passing the bar exam is a major milestone – one of many as they will be tested throughout their career as Idaho lawyers. I am confident that the Concordia Law faculty and staff have given them the tools to succeed, make a positive impact in the communities where they serve, and transform society.”
The next step for these lawyers is the official swearing in at the Idaho State Bar’s Admission Ceremony on Thursday, October 6, 2016 before the Idaho Supreme Court and the Federal District Court. On behalf of everyone at Concordia University School of Law, congratulations to Idaho’s newest members of the legal profession!
