Concordia Law Professor to Chair ALWD Committee

Tenielle Fordyce-Ruff, associate professor and director of Concordia Law’s Legal Research & Writing Program, was named as the chair of the conference site committee for the Association of Legal Writing Directors’ (ALWD) Biennial Conference in July 2017 at the University of Minnesota.

ALWD is the nation’s most prestigious legal writing organization, and the biennial conference is their flag ship event. With 300 members representing more than 150 law schools, the non-profit professional association serves directors of legal reasoning, research, writing, analysis, and advocacy programs from law schools throughout the United States, Canada and Australia.

Fordyce-Ruff is in charge of all the details related to running the conference from sponsorships to lodging, meals and more. She has been a member of ALWD since 2013 and chaired ALWD’s New Directors’ committee in 2015.
