Bar exam results were released today in Idaho, and Concordia University School of Law graduates taking the July 2016 exam achieved a passage rate of 80%, well above the Idaho state average of 72.5% for bar exam takers.
By passing the bar, these Concordia Law graduate are now able to be officially licensed by the Idaho State Bar to practice law in Idaho. The next step for these 16 new lawyers is the official swearing in at the Idaho State Bar’s Admission Ceremony on Thurs., Oct. 6, 2016, before the Idaho Supreme Court and the United States District Court of Idaho.

Welcome back students! The fall semester classes began on August 15th. We are excited for the upcoming year. The incoming 2016-2017 1L class brings a wealth of diverse experiences to Concordia Law. A total of 50 students began their law school career this week. The average age is 30, 68%/32% are male/female, 86%/14% are full time/part time, 26% are ethnically diverse and the 1L student body represents 16 states and 2 countries.

Elena Langan begins January 2017; Founding Dean Silak Promoted to VP
Following a national search, Concordia University-Portland appointed Elena Langan as the new dean of its Boise-based School of Law. Dean Langan will begin her new role in January 2017.
