
Amy Nelms Henson serves as the Career and Professional Development Advisor at Concordia University School of Law helping to administer career development programs for the school, as well as support student externships and pro bono experiences.
Amy joins the Concordia Law team after receiving her Masters of Public Administration at University of Oregon. While a graduate student, Amy focused her work in higher education and improving the student experience. She conducted a national survey for the National Center for Campus Public Safety as part of a team with the University of Oregon Community Service Center. She also examined the transfer student experience in Oregon for the Higher Education Coordinating Commission, and oversaw the Student Life Emerging Leader’s Internship Program for the University of Oregon.
Amy developed a passion for student affairs and student success while serving as Associate Student Body President at Lewis-Clark State College where she majored in History.
A born and raised Idahoan, Amy is excited to be back in Boise where she is closer to family, has quicker access to skiing, and the best whitewater in the country. In her free time you can find Amy coaching volleyball, reading a political autobiography, or enjoying the outdoor opportunities Idaho has to offer.
