Denyce Thompson-Udink joined Concordia University School of Law as an adjunct professor in 2015, teaching and supervising the Criminal Law Clinic. In this position, Ms. Thompson-Udink teaches students in the clinic about the substantive, ethical and procedural issues relating to prosecution of criminal cases. She also supervises the fieldwork component of the clinic, where students gain practical experience by managing a caseload of criminal cases and by appearing in court on their assigned cases.
Ms. Thompson-Udink is employed at the Boise City Attorney’s Office and began her prosecutorial career there in 2003. She currently serves as the Criminal Chief Deputy Attorney. In addition to her role as a prosecutor, she also supervises the intake team and manages a team of prosecutors and support staff. Prior to joining the Boise City Attorney’s Office, Ms. Thompson-Udink clerked for the Honorable Darrel R. Perry at the Idaho Court of Appeals.
Ms. Thompson-Udink received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Utah in 1991. She graduated magna cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2001.
