Professor Dykstra serves as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Director for the Legal Research and Writing program at Concordia University School of Law.
Prior to joining Concordia University, Professor Dykstra was employed by Meuleman Mollerup, LLP in Boise, Idaho, where he worked as an associate attorney. His primary practice included commercial litigation and arbitration, with an emphasis on real property, employment and construction disputes in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Washington.
Prior to joining Meuleman Mollerup, Professor Dykstra worked at Sasser & Inglis, P.C. in Boise, Idaho. His work focused on insurance law and bad faith defense, intellectual property rights, and business transactions.
A Montana native, Professor Dykstra spent five years as an Associate Attorney at Marra, Wenz & Johnson, P.C., in Great Falls, Montana. He represented and advised a variety of business, governmental, non-profit and individual clients regarding many legal issues. At the firm, his practice focused on employment law, appellate advocacy, formation of business entities, estate planning, commercial transactions, real estate transactions, taxation, administrative law, insurance defense, personal injury, product liability, insurance law, workers' compensation, anti-trust litigation and bankruptcy proceedings.
Professor Dykstra received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Montana in 1992. He earned his Juris Doctor from University of Montana School of Law in 1995.
