Professor Cunningham joined Concordia in 2014. He previously taught Constitutional Law and Property Law at Arizona Summit Law School from 2009 to 2014. Professor Cunningham’s non-academic legal experience includes four years as a staff attorney at the Texas Supreme Court, four years as a litigator and appellate practitioner at Rose Walker L.L.P. in Dallas, Texas, and one year as a law clerk to Judge Joel F. Dubina on the Eleventh Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. While teaching law remains his primary responsibility, Professor Cunningham continues to represent clients before the Texas Supreme Court and consult for multinational companies on issues relating to international data privacy and security law.
Professor Cunningham has published several articles in scholarly journals. Recent publications include articles in George Washington International Law Review, Santa Clara Journal of International Law, and Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. Professor Cunningham’s scholarship interests include: privacy and data security, international corrupt practices law, property law, constitutional law and appellate law. While attending Baylor Law School, Professor Cunningham served as Managing Editor of the Baylor Law Review.
