Boise’s first-ever Mayoral Candidate Runoff Election Forum on Nov. 12

Concordia University School of Law is proud to sponsor the first-ever Mayoral Candidate Runoff Election Forum between Lauren McLean, current City Council President, and Dave Bieter, the incumbent Mayor.

Neither candidate surpassed the 50% vote threshold to win the Mayoral election, which was held on Tuesday, November 5, prompting the runoff election on Tuesday, December 3. In Tuesday’s election, City Council President McLean took an early lead and after the votes were counted garnered 45.7% of the votes to Mayor Bieter’s 30.3% (two other candidates claimed the remaining 20.4% of the votes).

The Forum will be hosted by the City Club of Boise and the League of Women Voters of Idaho on Tuesday, November 12 from 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. at The Grove Hotel in Boise.
