
Deaconess Sonja Baumeister serves part-time as Campus Minister for the Concordia University School of Law. In this role, she is available for counseling, conversation, discussion of issues and prayer. Her office (135) is located adjacent to the Law Library. In addition to her part-time role at the law school, she works full-time for the Registrar's Office.
Deaconess Sonja Baumeister has served in many vocations throughout her adult life including high school math/computer science teacher, layout editor, parenting instructor, administrative assistant, parish deaconess and most joyfully, wife and mother. She and her husband, Bo, grew up in Nebraska farm country and enjoy sports (both watching and participating), hiking, kayaking and reading. They have two children, Rex, a computer programmer in Ann Arbor, Mich. and Taylor, a high school English teacher in Houston, Tex.
